Plowboys take one from Bucks in the rain. Plowboys traveled up to Elk Grove to take on the Bucks for a Pioneer Days Festival game. This game was all Plowboys as they held the Bucks to 7 hits and only 1 run in an 8 to 1 rain shortened win. The Plowboys pounded out 24 hits and were led by ‘Jackrabbit’ Antonio Bellino with a 3 for 5 day, ‘Moose’ Rob Baker who went 4 for 5 and scored three runs, ‘Old Man’ Steve Herald with a 5 for 5 day and ‘Ironhead’ Steve South who went 3 for 5 with 3 runs batted in. Hurler ‘T-Bone’ William Sullivan held the Bucks to their 1 run while retiring all but one of the Buck strikers on the infield.
The Plowboys will host the Chicago Salmon this coming Saturday at Herrick Middle School Starting at 11 am.
