Match Report by Steve "Iron Head" South

The Plowboys wandered over to Indiana to battle the Deep River Grinders. The Grinders pretty much dominated, scoring 6 runs in the bottom of the 1^st, then held the Plowboys scoreless for the first eight innings to take a 10 to 1 win.  The lone Plowboy run was scored in the top of the 9^th inning by ‘Eyes’ Selke on  a single by ‘Long Arm’ Pas. 

The defensive highlight for the Plowboys was the foul ball lodged in a tree - Jake "The Kid" Baldwin climbed the tree to retrieve the ball to put the striker out.  You just don't get to see that every day.

The Plowboys would like to thank the Grinders for being gracious hosts, but hope that next year they could let us score just a few more runs.
