Salmon swim into Downers’ then head upstream with the win.

The Chicago Salmon came to town this past weekend to take on the Plowboys, scoring 6 runs over the last three innings to take the win 8-5.

The Plowboys got behind early as the Salmon scored 2 runs in the opening frame, but the Plowboys battled for a run in the second when ‘Jackrabbit’ Bellino scored, then got two more in the third on another ‘Jackrabbit’ run along with one by ‘Mulehead’ McClelland.

The Salmon then took advantage of some Plowboy errors for 2 runs each in the 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th, the Plowboys rallied for 2 runs in the bottom of the ninth, but came up just a little short.

The Plowboys look forward to next years matches, but think that we will use our own umpire for our home game next year( but thanks anyhow)
